Course summary
The Masters in International Business Management considers and evaluates the demands of the international economy, and the increasing globalisation of business and management practice. The curriculum, draws upon the latest thinking in this area, and provides a comprehensive and contemporary review of business in the 21st Century. Drawing on established business disciplines we have produced a series of creative and challenging modules that reflect current themes and debates in international business and management. Modules
Students on the generic MSc International Business Management programme will complete the following 120 credits of compulsory taught modules. Compulsory modules (20 credits each) The Global Economy: International Trade and Finance International Business in the Digital Society Contemporary Political Issues in International Business International Business Strategies Global Corporate Sustainability Professional Development, Practice and Performance Select ONE optional taught module (20 credits each) In Search of Creativity, Innovation & Difference Global Strategic Direction and Change Management Managing Global Challenges International Business Across Cultures Public Sector Reform and Management Select ONE final project module (40 credits each) International Research Project Consultancy Project Business Plan Public Management pathway Students on the MSc International Business Management (Public Management) pathway programme will complete the following 140 credits of compulsory taught modules and one of the 40 credit final project modules. Assessment method
Assessment on the programme is all via coursework, and will take a variety of formats including essay, reflective evaluations, case study analysis, marketing plans and presentations.
Qualified teacher status (QTS)
To work as a teacher at a state school in England or Wales, you will need to achieve qualified teacher status (QTS). This is offered on this course for the following level:

Entry requirements
All students should hold a first degree or equivalent, with a minimum UK 2:2 classification. Although management experience is not essential it is desirable. Students who do not hold such qualifications will be assessed as to their suitability through interview and where necessary the taking of references. International Applicants Students whose first language is not English will need to provide evidence of fluency to at least an IELTS 6.0 standard or equivalent.
