Course summary

Why Accounting and Business Management? Our Accounting and Business Management degree is a flexible course which enables you to specialise in accounting, business, or both subjects, allowing you to pursue your own individual interests and career ambitions. With the opportunity for an unforgettable international trip to Ho Chi Minh City (additional costs may apply, see course web page for details), as well as work placements with renowned companies from IBM to BMW, our ‘Make It’ programme of business experiences really helps our graduates stand out from the competition. You’ll draw on the expertise of lecturers with extensive professional credentials and research experience, as well as learn from inspiring industry experts in guest lectures. The university is one of only four in the UK to be accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). We are also accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales (ICAEW), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the Association of International Accountants (AIA). This ensures your qualification not only meets the high expectations of leading accountancy bodies, but gives you maximum exemptions from professional exams when you graduate. You will also take advantage of the cutting-edge facilities at our brand new state-of-the-art School of Business and Technology building at Oxstalls campus, Gloucester, including a live Thomson Reuters trading room and equipment you’d find in company headquarters around the globe.
