Do you want to learn about the effects of migration on countries and families left behind? How do migration policies shape migrants’ life-chances? Our Masters will give you the knowledge to analyse and address these and other questions. You'll gain specialised knowledge and transferable skills in areas such as: -migration policies -refugee rights -development strategies -humanitarian assistance. You'll develop your critical thinking and effective communication. And you'll learn to approach problems with empathy and creativity. Our interdisciplinary approach will give you a distinctive, critical grounding in international development. You're taught migration studies by faculty with extensive knowledge from working in the field. And you’ll become part of the research community in the Sussex Centre for Migration Research, located within the School of Global Studies. Entry requirements

You should normally have an upper second-class (2.1) undergraduate honours degree or above. Your qualification should be in a social sciences or humanities subject. You may also be considered for the course if you have other professional qualifications or experience of equivalent standing.
