Sports therapy and rehabilitation is an aspect of healthcare that is specifically concerned with preventing injury and improving rehabilitation. Our course offers exciting prospects if you are planning a career in sports injury management and treatment, or if you want to work with professional athletes, sports teams or as a rehabilitator within the NHS. You'll get to grips with anatomy, physiology and biomechanics, and have the opportunity to work with real clients. This practical experience will help you to develop key skills for a career in this field, while placements will allow you to help others as you develop your skills and knowledge. Whether you are interested in working as a personal trainer, coach, sports therapist, exercise physiologist, or another related career, this course will help you gain the skills needed to diagnose, treat and prevent injury through rehabilitation programmes.
