BA (Hons) Fashion Industry: Branding & Marketing can teach you important industry skills on how to create effective branding and marketing strategies with a strong emphasis on sustainability and digitalisation in the context of the global fashion, luxury and lifestyle industry, as well as how brands communicate with consumers through innovative ideas, strategic delivery and visual strategies. On this course, you will learn how to search for consumer insight and future trends, and how to use your findings to determine potential gaps in the market. You will explore how fashion and luxury brands, from high street retailers to luxury, become distinctive and desirable by discovering how they identify their unique selling points to position themselves in the market. This course will give you 360-degree preparation for a career in fashion branding, marketing or its associated business functions or postgraduate study. The foundation year course is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to continue onto your Honours degree. You will study a range of subjects that will underpin your future study and also gain valuable experience of university life, with full access to campus facilities. Successful completion of the year allows you to progress straight onto Level 4 of this course.
