Psychodynamic Counselling at Birkbeck, University of London - UCAS

Course summary

If you want to develop your helping skills in professional or voluntary roles, or eventually to train as a counsellor, our Certificate of Higher Education in Psychodynamic Counselling teaches the basic elements and skills you will need. It can be taken as a progression route on to accredited clinical training, or as a course of study in its own right. The course focuses on the development of the capacity for self-reflection, on how the inner and outer worlds relate to each other, how psychodynamic theory informs practice, and how social and organisational dynamics and factors affect the professional context in which counselling takes place. Highlights
