Course summary

FRENCH: - French involves the study of a key European and international language as well as the cultures it has influenced across the world. As part of your French degree you can choose to focus on a whole range of topics including French comics, French song, travel writing, medieval France and contemporary French history. BUSINESS & MANAGEMENT: - The study of business and management offers you a structured insight into both the theoretical and practical dimensions of organisations and management. You will benefit from our collaborative ties with local industry and commerce which make significant contributions to the degree programme. Theory and practice is taught through a variety of innovative learning methods and opportunities.

A level AAB - BBB Must include at least one Arts/Humanities subject.
Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) DDD Acceptable in appropriate subject area.
Access to HE Diploma Acceptable in appropriate subject area. Must pass at least two thirds of modules with merit grade.
Scottish Higher BBBB - AAAAA Must include higher English plus one higher Arts/Humanities subject.
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme 36 - 32 points 3 HL subjects at 6,6,5 (36P)/ 6,5,5 (32P) including HL English AND a HL Humanities/Language subject.

SQA applicants who achieve less than AAAAA by the end of S5 but achieved at least BBBB MAY receive a conditional offer, but a decision will not be made on these applications until April once all applications have been reviewed. Conditional offers to these applicants will require them to achieve AAAAA cumulatively by the end of S6.
