You gain the skills in technical theatre and film production and as well studying the theory that underpins film and drama. You cover gender, identity, human rights, tragedy, devising, playwriting, directing, screenwriting, screen media and cinema. What makes us different? You don't just study film and drama as separate disciplines. We offer modules which bring the disciplines of film and drama together. Our modules Directing Actors for Film and Introduction to Screenwriting give you a seamless mix of both film and drama so you can excel throughout the screen and the stage. Our staff have extensive experience in theatre and film and are actively directing, writing, producing and shooting.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) Entry requirements for students studying BTEC qualifications are dependent on subjects studied. Advice can be provided on an individual basis. The standard required is generally at Distinction level.
Access to HE Diploma M: 45 credits
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme 30 points Including a Higher Level essay-based subject grade 5. We are happy to consider a combination of separate IB Diploma Programmes at both Higher and Standard Level. Exact offer levels will vary depending on the range of subjects being taken at higher and standard level, and the course applied for.
