Course summary
This programme is an excellent opportunity to experience the first level of our BSc (Hons) programmes whilst gaining experience of online learning and higher education. This is also ideal for school leavers or those wishing to explore the world of the Built Environment, without committing to a full BSc (Hons). This programme provides students with a rigorous detailed understanding of the principles and practice involved in the property and construction industries, up to Level 4 standard (the first level of a UK bachelor’s degree). The programme provides the academic underpinning necessary to prepare students to start their journey towards a career as a Chartered Surveyor, without the initial financial and time commitment of a full bachelor’s degree. This means students can take control over the timing and progression of their studying to suit personal and career circumstances. Successful completion of the Certificate of Higher Education will also enable students to progress onto one of UCEM’s accredited BSc (Hons) programmes, including:
- BSc (Hons) Building Surveying
- BSc (Hons) Construction Management
- BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying
- BSc (Hons) Real Estate Management
- BSc (Hons) Building Control
