This programme provides the unique opportunity to study the related disciplines of psychology and education. Students will learn to conduct psychological research and apply psychological theory to the understanding of education and education environments. Accreditation - This course provides Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) of the British Psychological Society (BPS). GBC is a prerequisite for many BPS-accredited postgraduate and doctoral programmes which lead to full Chartered Psychologist status.

A level ABB Essential Subjects: Science (or equivalent) is essential.
Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) DDM We consider a range of BTEC qualifications equivalent to 3 A Levels, or in combination with A Levels or other qualifications. A Level in Science (or equivalent qualification) is essential. We may also consider relevant units in your BTEC as A Level Science equivalent.
Access to HE Diploma D: 30 credits M: 15 credits P: 0 credits Pass Access to HE Diploma with 30 credits at Distinction and 15 at Merit or higher including Science-related units.
Scottish Higher AAABB Only acceptable in conjunction with Scottish Advanced Highers.
Scottish Advanced Higher AB Acceptable in conjunction with Scottish Highers. Advanced Higher Science is essential.
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme 34 points With Higher Level Science
Welsh Baccalaureate - Advanced Skills Challenge Certificate (first teaching September 2015) A - B We will consider this qualification alongside or in combination with A Levels or other qualifications, as equivalent to one A Level.
Extended Project C We recognise the value of this qualification and for this programme you will be eligible for a reduced offer of one grade below the typical offer, where an EPQ is taken alongside 3 A Levels or equivalent and you achieve a mark of grade C or higher.
Cambridge International Pre-U Certificate - Principal D3, M2, M2 Cambridge Pre-U Science is essential.
OCR Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma DDM We consider a range of OCR qualifications equivalent to 3 A Levels, or in combination with A Levels or other qualifications. A Level in Science (or equivalent qualification) is essential. We may also consider relevant units in your OCR Cambridge Technical as A Level equivalent.
