UCAS Tariff - 64 points
Applicants should have sufficient and appropriate prior experience in childcare and an appropriate level 3 qualification and also show the potential for successful study at HE level, commitment to study and work in the sector and commitment to the work-experience component. Applicants with appropriate prior experience in childcare, but who do not hold an appropriate level 3 qualification, may also be considered. Successful applicants will need to be working or volunteering in an early years' setting for the duration of the course to meet the requirements of the SEFDEY (and will already be in possession of a valid DBS). Applications from students whose first language is not English are welcome. For International students we require evidence of proficiency in English (including writing, speaking, listening and reading), the required minimum is: IELTS Academic (SELT) 6.0 overall (minimum 5.5 in all components).
