Taught within the grounds of our green heritage site, outdoor learning base, and on campus art museum, The Sainsbury Centre, you will explore the National Curriculum through classroom, outdoors and arts-based teaching. About This Course On this course you’ll study how schools and other educational settings shape our lives. You’ll address varied and different approaches to education and examine the ways people learn across a wide range of educational institutions, both in the UK and beyond. You’ll examine education at all stages of our lives, from childhood to adolescence and beyond into lifelong learning. With core modules in 2nd and 4th year exploring the psychology and motivations of learning and teaching, you’ll also be introduced to ways to understand and inspire learners from a range of backgrounds. With strong links with the PGCE and teacher-training options provided at UEA, you will be well positioned to pursue this career option. With a year abroad, you’ll further broaden your understanding of education, learning, and teaching by experiencing education in one of our partner universities, widening your perspective on education with experts from around the world.
