Course summary
This practical course has been designed to meet the needs of the sport and exercise science industry. You will gain an understanding of sports performance and exercise from a physical, physiological, psychological and technical perspective. You will also develop a strong understanding of scientific methods of enquiry and enhance your problem-solving skills. You can gain additional qualifications such as Certificate in Fitness Instruction and Certificate in Personal Training which allows accreditation with the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPS). What’s next? Progress to a career in the sport and leisure sector or top up to a full degree with our BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise.
