Course summary

This course will provide you with opportunities to develop and critically analyse technologies and applications for renewable heat, power and transportation. You will have the chance to learn how to apply their engineering knowledge to address the requirement for cost-effective carbon reduction solutions and appraise the global socio-economic challenges associated with renewable energy. This course includes a mandatory Consulting Global Professional Development module developed in partnership with the Chartered Management Institute.

Assessment method

This course will be assessed using a variety of methods which will could vary depending upon the module. Assessment methods will include exams, individual assignments and group work elements that clearly explain the opportunity for individual marks. How to apply

International applicants

This course has a subject classification which requires students whose nationality is outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland to have an ATAS certificate, irrespective of country of residence at the point of application.

Entry requirements

Applicants should hold a good honours degree 2:2 or above in a relevant academic discipline, such as a Physical Science, Mathematics or Engineering. Applicants with a degree in another discipline or with relevant experience will be considered on an individual basis
