Course summary

Our MSc/PgDip Information & Library Studies is a conversion degree, designed specifically for graduates from any discipline. Previous students have joined us from a variety of backgrounds, including: History, English Literature, Forensic science, Psychology, Chemistry and Linguistics. Assessment method

Coursework assignments involve: individual work; group projects; exams; practical work in computer laboratories. For the award of the MSc, you’ll be required to complete an individual project under supervision. This should contain an element of original research.

Entry requirements

Minimum second class honours degree or international equivalent. You must have an English language minimum score of IELTS 6.0 (with no component below 5.5).
