Course summary
This course is suited to those who have already completed the HNC Fashion and wish to pursue a career within fashion, design, production or retail. Through several practical projects, you will build on your experiences from the HNC, and learn new techniques. Considering design as part of the process, you will learn how to apply these techniques to your own individual projects. The course covers more advanced manufacturing processes, enabling you to develop and refine your skills. You will also learn more about the Harris Tweed industry, a high-end, iconic brand that will support and underpin your studies. Bringing a retail aspect to the course will also help you understand the importance of quality, uniqueness and cultural richness.
