What you will study Originally established in 1972, our MSc is one of the longest-established university courses of its type in the world, promising you pioneering research as well as a strong focus on forward-thinking ideas and innovation. Our programme is designed to provide students with a unique learning experience that combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills, preparing them for success in the dynamic field of tourism management. Taking a broad view of international tourism management, you’ll get to know and understand the various global challenges (e.g. climate change, sustainability, overtourism, consumer behaviour change, digitalisation, safety and security concerns) that modern tourism managers and other professionals are likely to face. We will equip you with essential, evaluative decision-making skills, we’ll also nurture your academic abilities while inspiring and encouraging the skills (e.g. leadership, communication, problem-solving, cultural awareness, sustainability, digital) and characteristics you need to become an accomplished tourism professional. A minimum of a 2:2 UK honours degree, or a recognised equivalent international qualification. English language requirements IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each element.
