Validated by University of Wales Trinity Saint David, Tileyard Education offers one-year postgraduate MA Programmes that provide you with unrivalled learning from leading international practitioners based at Tileyard, the largest independent music community in the world. The MA Music Business is a one year, full time practical and industry-focused MA for the aspiring or established music managers, labels, publishers and entrepreneurs. The MA Music Business is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the largest independent music community in the world, learning and practising the mechanics and strategies of labels, publishers, managers, agents, promoters, event organisers and new media entrepreneurs through first-hand case studies taught by industry practitioners based at Tileyard. The programme contains a voluntary, industry placement module to enable students to examine contemporary working practices, opportunities to pitch to the in-house record label, exclusive access to Tileyard masterclasses, one-to-one industry mentoring, work-based learning opportunities and the annual social calendar of events and networking opportunities.
Entry requirements
A minimum of a 2:2 honours degree, or an appropriate equivalent, i.e. a professional qualification, from a recognised British or overseas institution. Mature students with at least 3 years of industry experience are also welcome to apply.
