Welcome to Wirral Met College's HND Film and Television course. Students on the HND Film and Television course will benefit from access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, including cameras, editing suites, sound recording equipment, and studio space. Assessment method
Throughout the course, your progress will be assessed through a variety of methods including practical projects, written assignments, presentations, and group work. Wirral Met College does not currently hold a Tier 4 licence to sponsor applicants who need a student visa to allow them to study in the UK, we are therefore only able to proceed with applications from those with current status which allows study.
Entry requirements
Qualification requirements
Entry is open to students with relevant qualifications at level 3 such as Access to Higher Education Diploma in any subject with Pass, Merit profile or other related Level 3 qualifications, such as an Extended Diploma or A-Levels. Applicants should have GCSE Maths and English grade 4/C and above. Students who do not satisfy the entry criteria may be eligible by interview and evidence of relevant industry experience. Mature learners may present a more varied profile of achievement that is likely to include extensive work experience (paid or unpaid) and possibly also achievement of a range of professional qualifications in their work sector. We welcome applicants with a genuine passion for filmmaking and television production, regardless of academic background.
