As a software engineer you will be the one designing and developing these systems. Alongside practical programming modules, you will also gain a wider understanding of key industry concepts, such as project management, software development practices and methodologies, data analytics, management and big data, computational thinking, systems architecture and software testing. On successful completion of this course, you will have both a theoretical and a practical understanding of software engineering.

Assessment method
This programme uses a range of assessments, and where possible, assignments are based on live scenarios. All students will carry out a project during their studies and there is also the opportunity for an industrial placement.
