BA (Hons) Graphic Design supports students seeking a specialist design focus, those interested in hybrid forms of communication as well as those wanting a comprehensive graphic communication design education. The graphic design programme is informed by industry and is focused on nurturing an understanding of an evolving creative practice that identifies desired meanings, behaviours and experiences for the end user, consumer, or audience allowing the outcome, or form of communication to emerge through active engagement, experimentation, and feedback. You’ll be encouraged to ideate, collaborate, experiment and ask purposeful questions while working on a range of projects including digital, informational, motion graphics, typographic, branding, signage and way-finding, social, speculative, and many applications of graphic design in its broadest sense. Iterative inquiry led creative practice frames our projects as platforms for testing ideas and spotting opportunities.
