TEF Bronze
University of Westminster, London has opted into the TEF and received a Bronze award.
Based within our School of Life Sciences, our research into nutrition is incorporated into a number of different research groups including Diagnostics and Therapeutics, Cell Communication and Against Breast Cancer. Our research focuses on diet and lifestyle and the impact on disease and treatment. Experienced and research-active staff work in close collaboration with the bio-industry, NHS and other research institutions within the UK, Europe and the US. Our facilities at the Cavendish Campus are equipped with state of the art instrumentation.

Entry requirements
Applicants should have a minimum classification of 2.1 in their first degree or equivalent and preferably a master's degree (or masters degree pending). Applicants whose first degree has not been studied in English should have IELTS 6.5 overall and 6.0 in all elements. Applicants need to submit a research proposal of 2,000–3,500 words. It should include a title of proposed research, identify discipline and formulate research questions clearly. It should also include proposed research methodology and plan of work and time schedule. References are normally required and if not provided with your application will be requested at a later date.
