Course summary

This distance learning course is unique because it delivered in a partnership between the University of Salford and the UK’s leading authority on Family Group Conference, the Family Rights Group. The Family Rights Group introduced Family Group Conferences into the UK and have 26 years practice in this area. You will be taught by academics and practitioners who are experienced in the practice of Family Group Conferences. The academic members of staff have written about and researched the use of FGCs in social care. This is the only postgraduate programme on Family Group Conferences in England and Wales.


Entry requirements

This course is suitable for practicing Family Group Conference Coordinators who wish to gain an academic and professional qualification to consolidate and build upon their existing knowledge and expertise. Applicants must have have undertaken a three day Family Group Conference Coordinator Training course and be practicing as a Family Group Conference Coordinator.
