Course summary

The MSc European and International Business Management is unique in the UK. You’ll live and study in three different European countries, giving you a truly international perspective on management. It is delivered in partnership with two other centres of excellence:

  • Deusto Business School at the Universidad de Deusto, Bilbao, Spain
  • Audencia Business School, Nantes, France
The programme is taught in three languages: Spanish, French and English. You will spend the first term in Spain or France, the second in France or Spain, and the third at the School of Management in Bradford. You spend the final 12 weeks of the course on work placement or writing a report. The MSc European and International Business Management includes some language tuition, but you must be competent in at least two of the three languages, and have the ability to become proficient in the third. Studying the programme significantly widens your career opportunities and earning potential. The MSc in European and International Business Management is a joint award of the three Institutions (Universidad de Deusto, Audencia, and University of Bradford). Modules

Compulsory modules are taught during the 1st 6 months in Deusto-Bilbao and Audencia-Nantes, and elective modules taught during the Spring period at Bradford. Students must simultaneously prepare a dissertation. After the Dissertation's viva and the electives' exams at Bradford, students undertake a tutored internship of 3 to 6 months. The 2nd term (January-March) offers more advanced courses, so that postgraduates can solve real case-studies of international companies using management tools with a sound technical basis.

Assessment method

Assessment is by a combination of written examinations, assignments, group projects and presentations.


Entry requirements

A good degree, not necessarily in business and management, from an approved university. Exceptional candidates without the usual academic qualifications but with appropriate professional qualifications may be admitted on their merit. There is no requirement for previous work experience. Applicants need to be competent in at least 2 of the 3 languages used in the course (Spanish, French and English). Minimum IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
