Course summary

This programme will give you both practical experience and academic insight into several areas of intensive care paediatrics. You will learn the theory behind current approaches, whilst also exploring the latest research that is driving the speciality forward. This focus makes the programme of value to both general paediatricians and potential intensivists. Modular (flexible) students - Some postgraduate taught and MRes programmes are available on a modular basis. Modular study lasts between 2 and 5 years. This is different to a part-time study which lasts for a fixed period.


Entry requirements

Medically qualified applicants should have post-qualification experience in paediatrics or child health. Non-medically qualified applicants should have an upper second-class UK bachelor's degree or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard, and experience of working in hospitals, community child health or public health services for children and families. English level: Level 2
