Course summary
This Higher National Diploma (HND) in Animal Biology and Wildlife Conservation brings together Animal Biology with Conservation. The effective conservation of species, ecosystems and natural resources is vital for future sustainable development. On this course you will gain the academic knowledge, applied theory and hands-on field experience needed to manage habitats and conserve wildlife. You will also enrich your knowledge by exploring wider topics such as rewilding, environmental issues, surveying techniques and the work of conservation organisations. After successfully completing this (HND) you may wish to consider enrolling for additional year of study on the BSc (Hons) Animal Biology and Wildlife Conservation (Top-up).
