Course summary
The course was established in 2004 and is designed to meet the need for a postgraduate qualification in cardiovascular health and rehabilitation. It is characterised by its multidisciplinary approach, stressing the importance of evidence-based practice in ensuring high standards of cardiovascular rehabilitation and prevention. Assessment method
Assessment is in the form of essays or equivalent – e.g. poster presentations. There are no exams – coursework accounts for 100% of the assessment.
Entry requirements
The course is open to applicants with a minimum of a 2:2 honours degree in a related subject area, or equivalent professional qualifications. Consideration will also be given to applicants with relevant work experience, background knowledge and skills. International: Students from countries outside the UK are expected to have entry qualifications roughly equivalent to UK A Level for undergraduate study and British Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) for postgraduate study.
