Course summary

This programme is for experienced practitioners, such as nurses, pharmacists, radiographers, audiologists, cardiac physiologists, ambulance staff and midwives who have clinical practice access with patient management responsibilities. It’s designed to support the development of experienced, registered health and care practitioner to a level of practice characterised by a high degree of autonomy and complex decision making. This master’s level award encompasses the four pillars of clinical practice: clinical practice leadership and management education research Advanced clinical practice embodies the ability to manage clinical care in partnership with individuals, families and carers. It includes the analysis and synthesis of complex problems across a range of settings, enabling innovative solutions to enhance people’s experience and improve outcomes. Practitioners will also be able to demonstrate core capabilities and area specific clinical competence.
