Course summary

Our Certificate in Higher Education (CertHE) courses are designed for learners who either: want to study for a degree but don’t yet hold the entry requirements for a full degree programme, or do not want to commit to a full degree programme at this point but would like a level 4 undergraduate qualification equivalent to the first year of a degree. This course in Sport Management has immediate career relevance and will allow candidates to better understand the sport management context and business and the ways that they could better contribute to this growing industry. The skills and knowledge which will be developed will facilitate progression into a number of roles, including those with management and decision-making responsibilities. This qualification will facilitate progression into, or development in, a number of roles, examples of which include; • Roles in sports clubs, organisations or governing bodies. • Roles in ‘back room’ sport management roles.
