Course summary

Following on from the HNC Animal Management programme, this one year top up course is designed for students wanting to work within the animal sector. It further develops knowledge and understanding of the industry and individual animals as well as developing the research skills that are invaluable for working within a zoo or research environment. You will need to have completed an HNC Animal Management before starting this programme. Units include: biological principles; animal behaviour; animal adaptations; fish, game and wildlife management and teaching a specialist subject.
