University of Chester has opted into the TEF and received a Silver award.
Our Mathematics degree has been carefully designed to maximise your enjoyment of your mathematical study, while preparing you carefully, at each stage in your course, for work at the next level. In addition to scheduled contact time, our staff offer flexible, drop-in times which you may use for additional small group or one-to-one support. Teaching takes place at Thornton Science Park.
For the latest example of curriculum availability on this degree programme please refer to the University of Chester's Website.
You are assessed through a combination of examinations, in-class tests and coursework. Coursework includes worksheets, projects and investigative work. These provide you with the opportunity to develop your theoretical understanding of the topics, experience in using specialist software and an insight into some applications of Mathematics.
The number of student respondents and response rates can be important in interpreting the data. For further information, see the Discover Uni website.
