Course summary

If your passion is for the dynamic events sector, the BA (Hons) Events Management is the right course for you. Join us and develop sector-specific skills and awareness aligned to high quality, business skills that will make a real impact on the businesses you work with. Discover opportunities to put your learning into practice through portfolio activity, projects, event management, live events and case studies, all while developing the skills and knowledge most valued by the business and events sector, so enhancing your employment opportunities. All students on the events degree will have the opportunity to become involved in a variety of events throughout the duration of the course, including a digital event in year 3. Living and studying in the Highlands gives you access to an exciting and varied range of events in areas such as music, culture, the arts, business and sporting events. In addition, studying Events Management with the University of the Highlands and Islands will give you the chance to choose option modules from our creative industries courses, such as BA (Hons) Film Making and BA (Hons) Music.

Advanced entry to year two may be possible from a range of relevant HNCs (with 15 credits) including HNC Events. See our website for further details. Direct access to year 3 may be possible with HND Events and Hospitality, or other HNDs where candidates have events experience
