A foundation year helps you develop the study skills and self-confidence needed for higher education when you don’t reach the entry requirements for your subject. Become a skilled content creator, explore the fascinating world of immersive design, gain an in-depth knowledge of social media strategies and develop skills in a broad range of media production techniques from podcasting to visual effects. On this industry-centred course, you’ll be taught by a team of lecturers with extensive industry experience. You’ll gain hands on experience with industry software and equipment such as 360 cameras, mobile gimbals and motion capture technologies as well as having access to green screen, TV and audio recording studios. A focus on emerging and innovative production will place you at the forefront of new trends and technologies. As well as experience of working on client briefs as part of your studies, you’ll have the opportunity to apply to be a freelance creative within our Creatives Agency.
