Electrical and Electronic engineers influence the world we live in, from communications technology, to electrical power distribution and health care technology. This course provides an integrated approach by combining academic rigour with engineering design applications, business skills and professional studies. Demand for engineers is high, so combining technical knowledge with personal and professional skills gives you a great start to your career. Creativity and problem-solving is one of the fundamental principles of Engineering and lies at the heart of the BEng (Hons) Top-up degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. You will be taught the relevant practical skills using state-of-the-art technology to produce practical and innovative solutions to a wide range of engineering problems. We will provide you with the knowledge and skills required for your chosen career path in electrical or electronic engineering. You may also wish to undertake postgraduate study to specialise in a subject you’ve already studied, or to explore something new.
