Course overview: Gain the skills and knowledge to set up a beauty salon business and manage it effectively. Learn about the services provided by a beauty therapist and your role as a salon manager. This course has two pathways: hairdressing or beauty therapy and aesthetics. You gain academic and practical skills ready to enter a professional role in the hair or beauty sector. As well as lecturers, seminars and workshops, you undertake practice hours which allow you to develop and refine your skills in salon operations. After the course: You are prepared for a career in hairdressing, beauty therapy, aesthetics, management and general business.
