Course summary
This is a practical, hands-on degree in Anatomy that allows you to combine a programme that includes cadaveric dissection with modules from biomedical and biological sciences. This degree will suit you if you want a thorough understanding of the structure and function of the human body. Our students are well prepared to compete for graduate entry into Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dental Sciences, Diagnostic Radiography and Physiotherapy, for higher degrees, and for careers in biological and medical science, archaeology, forensic science, palaeontology, sports science and teaching. This programme includes an Integrated Masters the first three years of the programme are identical to the BSc Anatomy and Human Biology. The final year involves additional training in research, including a 60-credit project and the option of an external internship, or of completing the whole year as an external industrial placement
