The International Event Management top-up degree is for students who hold an HND, FdA or DipHE in a related subject and want to upgrade their qualification to a full honours award. Sharing modules with final year students of the International Event Management BA, you are in effect a final year student yourself and you graduate with the same accreditation. The course offers a great opportunity to pursue an area of interest and give a significant boost to your employment prospects. It will enable you to develop an in-depth understanding of the global events industry as well as more specific management skills in order to become a successful events professional.

This one year programme is aimed at those students who hold an HND, FdA or DipHE in Hospitality or Event Management (or similar) and who wish to obtain an Honours degree. The fees listed here are for full-time courses beginning in the academic year 2020–21. Further tuition fees are payable for each subsequent year of study and are subject to an annual increase of no more than 5% or RPI (whichever is the greater). The annual increase for UK/EU students, who are subject to regulated fees, will increase no more than the statutory maximum fee. The tuition fee you have to pay depends on a number of factors including the kind of course you take, and whether you study full-time or part-time. If you are studying part-time you will normally be charged on a pro rata basis depending on the number of modules you take. If your course includes a sandwich year option you will pay a reduced fee during this year; £1,290 for home students and £2,076 for international students.
