Civil engineers don’t just build roads, they contribute much of the built environment we see around us, including planning and developing railway networks and even helping to protect our coastlines by designing sea walls and harbours. Our Civil Engineering BEng(Hons) course will develop the skills you need to become a highly skilled civil engineer. You’ll work in interdisciplinary project teams on industry-based scenarios, from design briefs to real-world case studies. You’ll learn with staff active in research and consultancy.
