Year One will give you a broad understanding of today’s business environment, from organisational operation to the importance of data in business. You’ll cover topics such as Organisations and the Business Environment, Economics and Globalisation and Managing Data. Year Two will take your knowledge and skills forward to focus on the inner workings of businesses, developing the skills that employers look for. You will learn to form opinions on how businesses manage challenges, you’ll work on projects and use business techniques to solve problems. Year Three will see you undertake an in-depth business research project with a focus on accounting, and give you the chance to plan a business by yourself or with fellow students. Again, you’ll choose other topics that excite you, from events management to organisational strategy. You'll be assessed in a wide range of ways that will test your business knowledge and management skills. These could include presentations, work-related projects, group-work, computer-based simulations, podcasts, examinations, essays, videos, and business reports.
