Qualified teacher status (QTS)
To work as a teacher at a state school in England or Wales, you will need to achieve qualified teacher status (QTS). This is offered on this course for the following level:

Entry requirements
Minimum 2:1 or the equivalent from an internationally recognised university (any discipline). IELTS requirements: 6.5 overall with no element less than 6.0 (or equivalent). IELTS with pre-sessional English: 6.5 with no component below 5.5 in each of the four sub-skills.
