Course summary

This course aims to nurture the socially and environmentally responsible business leaders of tomorrow by emphasising the theme of sustainability throughout. It instils the practices common to all successful enterprises and was designed with the input of a range of businesses with an emphasis on both social responsibility and sustainability. It will prepare you to start your own successful business as you will develop transferable skills in analytical and critical thinking, strategic decision-making, problem- solving and self-reliance. The programme will also offer you the possibility to shape your own studies by electing to undertake either a dissertation or, to for those with an entrepreneurial spirit, to produce your own detailed Business Plan.

Assessment method

This course has an average of 12 hours of scheduled teaching per week and a work placement element totalling 100 hours. Assessment is via a combination of practical projects and coursework.
