Course overview: Employers are increasingly looking for work-ready graduates with an in-depth understanding of the event industry and the skills to operate in an international business environment. This course equips you with a strong applied grounding in event management that challenges you to develop, promote, operationalise and evaluate a range of events during each year of your studies. You learn the principles and theoretical frameworks related to events management and how to apply this theory in practice. After the course: Event management offers growing and varied career opportunities, ranging from organising a small business conference to masterminding a major music festival. In charge of both planning and execution, professional event managers have responsibilities that shift with every project. The degree will enable you to gain the combination of knowledge, skills, personal qualities and relevant experiences needed in your career.
