INTRODUCTION Welcome to the College of Esports BA (Hons) International Esports Business & Digital Marketing, which focuses on developing your Talent, Resilience and Identity in the context of the exciting and international world of esports within our unique TRI-Curriculum approach. This course examines esports from several digital marketing perspectives; digital psychology, professional gaming, event production, content management and creation and international business. Your modules have been carefully selected to create an enjoyable and engaging journey as well as challenging for you as a student. This blend will provide a strong foundation in all that is digital marketing within the context of esports and ensure via your TRI-Curriculum, you will be able to apply your knowledge through work experience within the industry from an early stage. Your modules such as SEO & Digital Marketing and Social Media Management are in demand and can be put into practice in year one. Importantly, the ability to vocationally apply your knowledge into the esports industry from your first year will help to create a strong personal portfolio of evidence and track record of your work and achievements to support employability. Thus, we will work together on your exit strategy from the early stages in your degree programme. As you progress into your second year, new academic areas such as Digital Psychology in Esports dovetail perfectly with the traditional subjects such as Content Creation and Marketing Analysis. They complement with Esports & Social Enterprises, Esports Business & Events, plus your learnings from year one to be able to further stretch your options and opportunities to work and engage within the esports sector. As your journey matures into your final year, Managing Esports Online Communities and Esports Brand Management ensure that you understand how to apply all of your knowledge to date. We have added an new ground-breaking academic discipline of Digital & Online Monetisation developed at our institution. THE AIMS OF THIS COURSE:
