The HNC/HND in Construction and the Built Environment is designed for those looking to take their career in the construction industry to a higher technician level in the fields of architecture, surveying, building control, site control or construction management. It also covers aspects of the growing sustainable construction market as well as focusing on keyskills in project management and contractual procedures. Successful completion of the HNC/HND Construction and the Built Environment can lead on to a wide range of roles including: Quantity surveyor; Building surveyor; Estates manager; Project manager; Site manager. You could also choose to study an extra year to ‘top-up’ your qualification to a full honours degree at a university after completion of the HND.
