Course summary
This course is designed to meet the needs of students who wish to develop a subject specialism in international business. The programme will give you the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the rapidly changing and dynamic international environment, as well as various cross border business activities. In this course, you will develop the skills needed to identify strategies available to firms operating at an international level, and develop a critical understanding of their activities. This programme will provide the opportunity for you to study a wide range of topics in international business, from both a theoretical and practical perspective. The course is designed to enable you to tailor it to your own personal and career interests, there are a number of option modules available.

You have a choice of three routes: Research Route, Consultancy Route and New Venture Creation Route (subject to tutor approval). Assessment method
Tutors are experts in their field and with many having practical experience in industry and the professions which helps combine your academic knowledge with practical application. Many aspects of teaching and assessment are grounded in real life situations.
Entry requirements
Entry requirements for this course are normally: * An Honours degree (2:2 or above), or equivalent qualification, in Business Studies, Marketing, Management, Logistics, Accountancy or Economics * Applicants with other professional qualifications and/or experience will be considered on an individual basis
English language requirements
If your first language is not English, you will need to meet the minimum requirements of an English Language qualification. The minimum for IELTS is 6.0 overall with no element lower than 5.5, or equivalent will be considered acceptable.
