The total duration of the programme with a foundation year is four years full-time. The bachelor’s degree programme is designed to develop individuals in a variety of professional roles in the IT sector, with managerial competencies that will allow them to successfully lead IT projects, become entrepreneurs in computing-related business and so forth. A distinctive feature of this Programme is its diverse and comprehensive curriculum, which includes hot topics in computer science, and provides an understanding of the fundamental set of skills, knowledge and practices needed in the sector. Furthermore, the Programme aims to provide valuable employability skills with a problem-based, practice-focused approach that clearly evaluates learning as a lifelong attitude, through labs and projects to teach students how to design, develop and implement projects and systems. The programme offers a solid basis for all students in their professional development, providing them with a clear understanding of the career path and field they might choose. Teaching and learning focus on computing fundamentals as applied to AI, blockchain and cybersecurity, with a specific emphasis on developing core employability skills such as teamwork, coach-ability, problem-solving and a deep understanding of the latest research and its practical implications.
