The Pearson BTEC Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Computing provides students with a comprehensive overview of the subject area through compulsory core learning modules. Additionally, students can gain skills and experience by selecting optional units from various occupational sectors. At Level 4, students can expand their understanding of the computing sector by completing six core units, one of which is evaluated through a Pearson-set assignment, and two optional level 4 units that determine the pathway of study of either Data Analyst, Cyber Security or Software Development.
