Passionate about creating a sustainable future? This degree will prepare you for a career in a wide range of earth and environmental science industries. From day one, you’ll be trained to become a sustainably minded geoscientist. You’ll study important topics like climate change, clean water, and green energy at a university that is a champion of sustainability with a global reputation for the quality of our research. We take a hands-on approach to learning through field trips and lab work, and you’ll also broaden your horizons with a year of study at one of our partner universities across Europe, Asia, North America, or Australia, gaining new skills, building international contacts, and immersing yourself in a different culture and environment. Assessment method
You'll be assessed through a combination of written, practical and coursework assessments throughout your degree. Written assessment typically includes exams and multiple choice tests. Practical is an assessment of your skills and competencies. This could include presentations, school experience, work experience or laboratory work. Coursework typically includes essays, written assignments, dissertations, research projects or producing a portfolio of your work.
