This course will allow you to develop a range of specialist technical skills, enabling you to meet the demands of employers in the computing sector and to adapt to a constantly changing world. The programme will cover a broad range of computing topics that may be encountered in modern business. By completing this course you will achieve an industry-recognised HND, which will enhance your career prospects and your employability. During the course you may also have the opportunity to gain additional professional IT qualifications with further study. You will study a range of modules including: Programming Networking Professional Practice Database Design and Development Security Managing a Successful Computing Project. You will be able to progress onto a HND or Degree in Computing or a related field. Network Engineer, Systems Architect, Data Analyst, IT Security Analyst, Web Developer are all possible examples of a wide range of job titles associated with the qualification.

Qualification requirements
* English AND Maths GCSEs at grade A*-C /9-4/Functional Skills at Level 2 AND * 48 UCAS points from A-Levels with 32 points from one A-Level qualification OR * 48 UCAS points from a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Business OR * Equivalent Level 3 qualification OR Relevant industry experience at the appropriate level. We welcome applications from mature students who will be considered individually on experience rather than qualifications, subject to a successful interview.
