This course includes a compulsory year studying abroad at one of our overseas campuses or with an international partner institution. You will develop a broad, thorough and fully integrated understanding of business management, graduating with the skills needed for a wide range of careers. You will get the opportunity to broaden your horizons and enhance your employability by experiencing another culture. You can choose to study similar modules to your counterparts back in Nottingham or expand your knowledge by taking other options.

Course details

Modules

Your first year will serves as a broad foundation to the study of a range of business disciplines. You will spend your second year studying abroad at the University's campuses in China or Malaysia, or at one of our international partner institutions in in locations such as Australia, Canada and the USA. Third-year studies typically include core modules in business ethics and sustainability, new venture creation and strategic management, and a choice of optional modules. You will also take part in a sustainable business challenge.

Qualified teacher status (QTS)

To work as a teacher at a state school in England or Wales, you will need to achieve qualified teacher status (QTS). This is offered on this course for the following level:
